Deep in the Mushroom Forest, towering above the canopy to unimaginable heights, is the world’s last Sky Oak. Inside the Sky Oak is home to Arberwood. A civilization that has been independently living inside the tree for centuries. This year’s poor harvest has fueled a rebellion on the ground floors. Everyone’s fight for height to the wealthier floors above has left Arberwood’s lower class neglected.

Fernen Oakly, the Chief of Arberwood, has little concern for the lower poverty-stricken floors. His tyrannical rulership, backed by propaganda claiming “Only the weak suffer,” has left many to believe the lower floors deserve their suffering. But Arberwood is growing. With so little food to go around, a new strategy has been deployed to control the population, and a mysterious place called ”Arberwood’s Shadow” has caused the Ground-floor to go silent.

Join Spruce, our 3rd-floor Food Allowance Distributor, as he is unwittingly caught up in harboring fugitives from the Ground-floor. With the top floors controlling the food, how will Spruce help the Rebel Leader, Timber, gain power and ultimately bring justice to the lower floors?

Art has always been her passion. But over the years, she has enjoyed Music and played the violin. She fell in love and married at a young age. But her life has been rich and full of love and support since then.

Her life began with a challenging and troubled home life. After getting married, she had a hemorrhagic stroke that nearly took her life at 19. Being disabled from that day on, she has struggled to live a simple life. Despite all this, her husband has helped her find joy and explore her artistic interests.

Writing has always been a challenge for her since the stroke left her with many reading and writing disabilities. But when creating this story to entertain her family, she found the courage to try and put her words into writing with the help of her husband and sister.
